MdS challenge 2017

A challenge of the self

Hi folks,
Hope this finds you well.
It’s now got the ‘sharp end’… 14 days to go! I mean, only two bloody weeks!! Arrrrgh…

Apologies for the tardiness of the update. I’ve been resting LOL

What have I been up to recently?

16 Days!

I mean WFT and HTF did that happen!?

Longer blog will appear later today. Sorry for my tardiness folks.

You forget…

Hi folks,

I hope you are well.

Yesterday I took part in the annual D33 (Deeside Way Ultra) 33miles in an out and back from Aberdeen to Banchory. Great to see some familiar faces and catch up too.

The race is the starting race on the SUMS calendar and is one of the ‘easiest’ Ultras I’ve run. That said, it still hurts, in fact, you forget how much it hurts. Continue reading “You forget…”

Something, I think I should learn.

Not sure my legs will like me today as it’s another set of stair reps. Bring it! LOL

Hey, hey kids. Hope you are all well.
As the title indicates, it’s a smidgen over one month now! Eeek.
Anxious? Yes, a little. Excited? Yes, a LOT. Continue reading “T-32”

Hey hey gang,

Hope you are well.

Since my short post…50Days, I thought it about time to fill you in on where I’m at.

Well, I’ve been picking/ordering all my food and ‘last minute kit’ choices. I’m pretty much 98% done with my kit, food, etc. Just need to get some ziplock bags for the eventual decant. However, that can wait for the next few weeks.  Continue reading “T-48”

50 days!

Weekend trails

Hi folks. A quick update.

I was lucky enough to arrange a run with a fellow MdS competitor, who, incidentally lives in the same county of Fife.

Always good to know another competitor from face to face, rather than a FB photo.

So, I met up with David Cowan on Saturday morning in the former royal burgh of Falkland.  Continue reading “Weekend trails”
